Info Centre and Press Team

Susanne and Jette

The Info Centre keeps track of all the participants of the camp, all the helpers and the economy of the Jamboree. Besides the Info Team can answer all questions, which may occur before – during – and after the week.

I the Info Centre you can meet Susanne Kriegbaum (Chairman), Jette Skiveren (Chairman), Nete Engen Christiansen (International coordinator) and Helle Jelsbak (cashier)

PRESS TEAM

In the information you will find the Press team. They work with everything from articles, over updating of info centre, to a helping hand in the writing of press releases, as to photography, contact with the Medias and whatever comes.

Here you will meet Peter Vagning (chairman of the Press team), Vinni Sørensen and Tom Hansen.

 

Activities

The Activity Team – the Vendelbo Jamboree 2011

This Vendelbo Jamboree mainly has members from the Clan Nordlys, who organizes the activities. Until now we are 10 scouts and guides in the team, who plans funny and exciting activities for all scouts and guides.
We need more helpers, who in cooperation with the activity leaders can work at the posts when the Jamboree is running. In this team it is great, that whatever is your interest, you can find it here, we have at large amount of activities.  

The activities will be placed at the area around the centre. The activities are open Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. The international day will take place Tuesday and the hike from Wednesday until Thursday.

IT

 

At the Vendelbo Jamboree the IT team has planned to establish an Internet cafe and Hot spots. This means that you can bring your laptop, so that you can send photos and mails back home.

On the camp a widescreen will be established to which you can send mms and sms. They will be shown on the widescreen. Other information will be shown on the screen, so as what happens during the week, the weather forecast and other important information.

Canteen

Marie and Hanne

Our job is to cook for about 100 volunteers, and we need more people for it.
We have to cook for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner – and to make some coffee and cakes in between.
So do you fancy cooking, peeling potatoes, bake, do the dishes and a nice mood, then the canteen is the right place for you.
As the evening comes we need volunteers for our bar/café.
Even If you are only able to take part in this for a few days, it will be a great help.

Technical service

Rene

The technical service is responsible for all technical installations on the camp: water, electricity, firewood, laths, bath facilities, toilets and much more.
